COVID-19 ALERT LEVEL 3

WHAT IT MEANS FOR STEELFORMERS AND YOU AS CUSTOMERS

In line with the New Zealand Government's announcement to move to Alert Level 3 (outside of Auckland and Northland) at 11.59pm on Tuesday 31 August, we wanted to update you on how the Steelform Roofing Group is responding, and how we are prepared to continue servicing our customers. Our network of four branches will be open, but as outlined below, the way we operate will be different. 

As per the Government regulations in place, customers are not permitted in any of our offices during Alert Level 3. The health and well-being of our staff, and you as customers, remains our highest priority and as such we will be strictly adhering to the protocols as mentioned below.

PLACING AN ORDER

  • Customers can place an order via email or by phoning it through, we will also have a tray situated outside each office for orders to be dropped off. There is the option of using our online order form where you can submit an order via our website. Click the link here or click on 'place and order' in the menu above. 

  • Unless you are an account holder, all orders must be paid for in full prior to manufacturing. Our offices can send you an invoice with all of the relevant payment information. 

CONTACTLESS PICK-UPS

  • Contactless pick-ups are welcome, it is mandatory practice that our staff and you as customers wear a mask when doing so. Please ring the office prior to your arrival so our factory staff can have your order in the designated pick up zones ready for collection.

  • Protocols whilst on our premises:

    • All staff will wash their hands and/or use hand sanitiser upon arrival, as well as when moving between work areas that other staff may have occupied

    • Staff will ensure thorough cleaning of our common areas and of all surfaces that will be in regular use

    • All staff are required to keep a minimum 1m distance from other staff, and wear a mask when outside of the offices and factories

    • A minimum distance of 2m is required between staff and customers, customers are required to wear a mask at all times

    • All staff and customers are required to scan in using our QR code on the Covid Tracer App

    • All workers, contractors and customers with cold or flu-like symptoms are asked to stay away from our premises

CONTACTLESS DELIVERIES

  • Deliveries will continue on an as required basis, with no interaction between our driver and the recipient(s). Delivery dockets and any related paperwork can be faxed or emailed to you if required.

  • Our delivery drivers will be strictly adhering to the following protocols:

    • Wearing a mask at all times

    • Maintaining a minimum distance of 2 metres - they cannot allow people to assist them with unloading

    • Carrying hand sanitiser with them at all times

    • When delivery to site, either signing in using the sites QR code on the Covid Tracer App or, manually logging each sites address

    • Not carrying any paperwork with them - quotes, plans and delivery documents will be either faxed or emailed

From the team at Steelform Roofing Group, we ask you to please respect these rules as we as a company have an obligation by law to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff bubble and you, our customers. We will continue to review the situation and will look to amend our process as and when advice from the Government changes.
